After 19 years of hard work we finally have our ‘state of the art’ pavilion, adjacent car park, new ground equipment shed, and new access road. We even have a new address : Slinfold Cricket Club, Wicket Gardens, Slinfold, RH13 0BP.​

​The old pavilion was dismantled at the end of the 2022 season after standing for just over 60 years at Lyons Road since its previous in carnation as a tote building at Lingfield Racecourse​.

Following handover from the building contractors, we finished off a few areas at our expense, including installation of flooring, bar and kitchen fit out, and changing room benches / coat hooks etc.

We have also installed an 8 metre height ball stop netting system onto the north boundary to protect the new houses, persons and vehicles on the new Antler Homes site and our car park.

We will also be upgrading our existing ball stop netting on the west boundary protecting the adjacent properties and gardens. This will also be at an increased height of 8 metres, and due to cost constraints, we will have to install this ourselves. Our club will be investing over £35,000 towards the two netting systems.

A few facts about our new pavilion:

• 300 square meters footprint over two floors (old pavilion was 120 sq/m);
  
• 5 changing rooms (Home, away, ladies / youths, umpires, disabled);
  
• 9 shower cubicles and 11 lavatories;
  
• Social areas, bar, and kitchen areas twice the size of old pavilion;
  
• Viewing gallery on first floor;
  
• Broadband wi-fi connection points;
  
• Electronic Point of Sale system for bar and food sales;
  
• 24 dedicated car parking spaces.
