HIRE THE PAVILION

Our wonderful new facility is now available to hire. Whether it's for an evening party or a daytime work function, our modern, yet traditionally styled pavilion can accommodate your event with the following facilities available:

• 11m x 6m bright, main event space with a variety of tables, chairs and stools as required with a maximum capacity of 80 guests;

• Bi-fold doors from main event space to outside terrace next to our picturesque, well-kept, cricket pitch and with multiple external power outlets;

• The outside terrace has a separate, designated smoking & vaping area at the opposite end to the main entrance so as not to disturb other guests;

​

• 24 dedicated parking spaces with auxiliary parking available via the gate at south end of the ground subject to weather conditions.

• ​Fully stocked and staffed, traditional-design bar with premium lagers, stout & cider on draft (including gluten-free lager); two ales on pump; a full array of wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks (specialist items can be ordered in advance);

• 2 x electronic point of sale units capable of accepting contactless, card and cash payments to ensure swift service,

• Fully fitted, health & safety compliant kitchen with sizeable serving hatch to the main event area and including 5-ring electric hob, triple electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, extractor hod & 3 sink units for food preparation, dish-washing and hand-washing.​

• Wall-mounted, 65" big screen with soundbar suitable for projection through hard-wire or casting;​

• High-speed internet & Wi-Fi throughout

• Central heating throughout and 3 air conditioning units in the main event space, perfect for Summer events.

• Separate male, female and accessible toilets on the ground floor, with additional toilets available on 1st floor.

• Separate cloakroom on ground floor for storage of coats & bags so as not to clutter your event in the main event space.

AVAILABILITY

Subject to any existing bookings, our pavilion is available for hire throughout the year, but please note the following restrictions during the cricket season (April to September inclusive):

FRIDAYS are our community evenings with coaching sessions for all juniors and the bar & barbeque open to everyone. Whilst the pavilion is not available for hire on these evenings, all are welcome to come and enjoy The Club's hospitality.

SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS see a senior cricket match taking place on the ground during the afternoon, often until approximately 8.00pm (and on most of these days there will also be a junior match in the morning). The pavilion is available to hire on these evenings, but please note that exclusive use of the facility cannot be guaranteed as a number of players will remain at the club after the match for an undefined period of time.

RATES

EVENING HIRE - £300.00 (inc. of VAT)

6.30pm - 11.30pm (until 12am by arrangement at additional cost);

​Inclusive of bar staff appropriate to number of guests and full access to kitchen, cloakroom and toilets on the ground floor;

Access to outside terrace and smoking & vaping area in accordance with licensing requirements appropriate to the event;

​Upstairs room available at additional cost;

50% of total hire cost (£150.00) to be paid at time of booking to secure the date & time with the balance to be paid no later than 1 week before the event;

Invoices and receipts will be issued for both payments.

Note: For Saturday evenings between April and September exclusive access of the facility cannot be guaranteed as there will be a cricket fixture on site during the day, which may not conclude much before 8.00pm, after which many players will remain for an undefined period of time.

DAYTIME HIRE - £30.00 PER HOUR (inc. of VAT)

8.00am - 6.00pm any day of the week;

​Inclusive of full access to kitchen, cloakroom and toilets on the ground floor;

​Bar provision can be arranged at + £18.00 per hour (inc. of VAT);

Access to outside terrace and smoking & vaping area in accordance with licensing requirements appropriate to the event;

Upstairs room available at additional cost;

50% of total hire cost to be paid at time of booking to secure the date & time with the balance to be paid no later than 1 week before the event;

Invoices and receipts will be issued for both payments.
